The IPS e.max Advantage

IPS e.max lithium disilicate is the gold standard for cosmetic restorations. With 400 MPa flexural strength and light transmission properties that closely replicate natural enamel, it produces anterior restorations with a depth and vitality that no other ceramic can match.

We press every veneer using the Ivoclar lost-wax technique. This gives us complete control over marginal fit, internal adaptation, and shade layering from cervical to incisal. The result is a restoration that appears to grow naturally from the gingival margin, with the translucency gradient your patients expect.

  • 400 MPa Flexural Strength — Ideal for Anteriors
  • Chameleon Effect for Seamless Colour Blending
  • Pressed via Lost-Wax for Superior Marginal Fit
  • TGA-Approved Ivoclar Materials Only

Dental Veneer Colour Matching

Colour Precision

Calibrated shade matching under standardised lighting

Colour Matching You Can Trust

Anterior aesthetics live or die on colour accuracy. Our shade matching process removes guesswork entirely. We work from calibrated clinical photographs taken under standardised lighting conditions, and cross-reference every case against VITA Classical and 3D-Master shade systems.

Each veneer passes through three colour checkpoints before it leaves our lab. Our ceramists apply layered staining to build depth in the body, define the incisal halo, and recreate the subtle warm tones found in natural enamel. If the shade is not right, it does not ship. Simple as that.

  • Calibrated Photography for Accurate Starting Shade
  • VITA Classical & 3D-Master Cross-Referencing
  • Layered Staining for Natural Depth and Warmth
  • Three-Stage Colour Verification Before Dispatch

From single veneers to full smile makeovers, we have the solution for every cosmetic indication.

Porcelain Veneers

Hand-pressed IPS e.max veneers with custom staining and surface characterisation. Minimal preparation designs available for conservative cases. Each veneer is individually layered to replicate the translucency, texture, and colour gradient of natural anterior teeth.

Full Service

Our Quality Process

Every cosmetic restoration passes through a structured quality process before it leaves our lab. No shortcuts. No exceptions.

01

Shade Analysis

Clinical photographs are assessed under calibrated lighting. We confirm the target shade against VITA systems and document the desired translucency and characterisation.

02

Layered Staining

Our ceramists hand-apply stains to build natural colour depth. Body shade, incisal effects, and gingival warmth are layered individually for a lifelike result.

03

Microscopic Verification

Margins and surface finish are inspected at 10x magnification. We verify the fit, polish, and surface anatomy before the restoration proceeds to final glazing.

04

Final QC & Dispatch

A senior technician performs a final quality check against the original prescription. Only then is the case packaged and dispatched with our first-time fit guarantee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from dentists about our cosmetic and veneer services.

What is IPS e.max and when should I use it?

IPS e.max is a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic from Ivoclar with 400 MPa flexural strength. It offers outstanding translucency and chameleon-like colour adaptation, making it the ideal choice for anterior veneers, inlays, onlays, and single crowns where aesthetics are the top priority. Its light transmission closely mimics natural enamel, producing lifelike results that are difficult to distinguish from surrounding teeth.

How do you ensure colour matching for anterior veneers?

We follow a multi-step colour verification process. It starts with detailed shade photography under calibrated lighting, followed by custom staining and layering by our ceramists. Each veneer is checked against the prescription shade tabs at multiple stages. For complex anterior cases, we offer a try-in stage so the dentist and patient can approve the shade, translucency, and surface texture before final glazing.

What is the difference between pressed and milled e.max?

Pressed e.max uses the traditional lost-wax technique, where a wax pattern is invested and replaced with molten lithium disilicate under heat and pressure. This method produces exceptional marginal adaptation and is preferred for veneers and anterior work. Milled e.max is CAD/CAM cut from pre-crystallised blocks, offering faster turnaround and consistent density. Both achieve 400 MPa strength, but pressed restorations typically provide superior translucency and shade blending for cosmetic cases.

Do you offer smile design consultations?

Yes. We provide a full digital smile design service where we work from the dentist's photographs and digital impressions to create a 2D or 3D preview of the proposed outcome. This allows the clinician and patient to visualise veneer shape, length, and proportion before any preparation begins. We also fabricate diagnostic wax-ups and silicone guides so the patient can trial the new smile in the mouth.
